The Girl Who Loved Moonlight

The Girl Who Loved Moonlight - An AI Children's Short Film by Star Rae Productions

When young Racheal discovers that moonlight caught in puddles can be collected in jars by children who still believe in magic, she begins secretly gathering it beneath her bed. But when the moon mysteriously starts to fade, a tiny moon-creature reveals that its magic is disappearing because someone has forgotten how to dream.

Following a trail of silver moonlight through her village, Racheal discovers the person in need of magic is her lonely grandmother, Vera, who stopped believing in dreams after losing her husband. Determined to bring the magic back, Racheal learns that some magic isn’t meant to be kept—it is meant to be shared.

A whimsical story about love, loss, imagination and the enduring magic of remembering to dream.
